Established as a family run care provider, Harbour Healthcare has grown considerably since we first began back in 2012. We now have homes in locations throughout England and Wales, delivering Residential, Nursing and Dementia care and we continue to grow.
Our philosophy is actually quite simple: We strive to provide an excellent standard of care to our residents, treating them with complete dignity and respect. We like to call it, just simply good care.
When you step into a Harbour home, you will immediately feel at home. Each home is unique and all are welcoming. Residents can enjoy the comfortable communal areas within the homes or spend time relaxing or helping out in our lovely garden areas.
We know it’s our team members who really make the difference and we are extremely proud to have team members working with us who go above and beyond to ensure our residents have the best experience they can living with us. Residents days are filled with love, compassion, activity and fun.
We provide care to those who need support or companionship to ensure that all needs are met, no matter what they might be. Our residential support and care is ideal for those of our residents who do not require nursing care or nursing care associated with dementia.
We provide nursing care for those who require the extra care and support of a skilled & fully qualified nurse available to them 24hrs a day.
Our teams are trained to care for our residents with dementia and understand how stimulating environments, activities and interactions are essential.
I stayed at Abigail Lodge for the first time in June 2023, to give my husband a well-deserved break. I was quite anxious as I did not know what to expect. I needn’t have worried as I was made to feel very welcome and soon settled in to this “home from home,” helped by the wonderful caring staff. I will not hesitate to return in the future for respite or permanent residency.
My family and myself would like to thank all the staff at Abigail Lodge for their care and support they have shown to our father and all of us at a very sad time, as my dad is at end of life and his care has been so good from all staff team. They truly care, a credit to your company. From the domestics, right up to your manager. Thank you so much.
