Walk for Purple Angels

A big well done to some of our Belle Vue Care Home team that took part in the Purple Angels 2024 sponsored walk on Sunday 1st September. Alix from the Activities team, our Team Leader Matthew and Senior Carer Pippa all made their way to Torre Abbey on Sunday to support this brilliant cause.

Purple Angels is our local Dementia charity and they do absolutely amazing things around the community and further afield. They strive for dementia awareness and dementia friendly environments, as well as delivering customised MP3 players to people with dementia all across the country. The beneficial effects of music for people with dementia can be huge, from stress release to improved mood.
