New Promotions

Peter Benham has become our Managing Director, his previous role as Director of Operations has been passed onto Geoff Edwards. “Geoff is a hugely experienced and well-respected leader and Operations Director, having been with Care Uk for 8 years, and as MD at HC-One for several years.  I believe Geoff with bring invaluable knowledge and experience to the Harbour family, helping us to continue our journey and enhancing the outcomes for our residents and teams.” – Peter Beham

Hi, my name is Geoff Edwards, I joined Harbour Healthcare in January 2025 to take the lead on the group’s operations of our care homes. I have over 33 years’ experience in health and social care, starting as a care assistant at the age of 16. I then went on to manage several small and large care homes. I began my leadership journey in 2005 when I became a Regional Operations Manager, since then I have held many senior roles as Operations Director and Managing Director with large care providers in England, Scotland and Wales working in partnership with the different regulators. I am passionate about the quality of care and the lives of the people who live with us, inclusive person-centred care is important to me as is supporting our residents to live an enabled and fulfilled life. I am an inclusive, encouraging, and energised leader that promotes a positive culture to support our colleagues with career pathways and development. When I am not in work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, weekends are very busy for me, and I am often found in my place of retreat in North Wales. I am very excited to be part of the “Harbour” family and look forward to continuing to make a difference for our residents, families, and colleagues. Regional Managers

Gemma Vaughan, Bentley Manor Home Manger, and Roz Poole have been appointed to the role of Regional Support Manager

Andrea Fjodor has been appointed as Acting Regional Manager of the central region she takes over Lee Riley-Owens’s role as we are delighted to announce that we have appointed him into the Director of Care Quality & Governance role. This is a new role at Harbour Healthcare, the responsibilities of this role include care quality compliance and audits, supporting service improvement, accident and incident oversight and management and looking at care policies and processes.
