There are not many care homes which can boast extensive sea views! Belle Vue Care Home is set in a perfect position to ensure that you never forget that you are close to the sea and the line of pretty huts along the beach.
The traditional seaside town of Paignton is reflected in the decoration of our home. We continually develop the environment, and this year is no different. We have great plans for improving the gardens and internal areas.
Our ever-popular home is able to care for 50 residents, including those who require round the clock general nursing care and those who feel the impact of dementia on their daily lives, requiring specialist care.
Daily life at Belle Vue Care Home is enhanced by a ‘hidden gem’ of an enclosed garden which overflows with flowers, shrubs and raised flower beds; a beautiful place for everyone to enjoy! Many of the rooms overlook the garden and it is easily accessed by you and your loved ones.
Our bedrooms are a variety of sizes, some with en-suites. When you are ready to move into, we would encourage you to bring in items to really make your room your own, bringing in a touch of sentiment. Some of our rooms have garden views, whilst others have sea views; whichever room you choose, we’re sure you’ll be very happy.
Our food is of the best quality to ensure that you love what you eat and get everything you need nutritionally, too. Our Head Chef is always speaking with our residents regarding the menu and is always happy to accommodate special requests.
The dining rooms are located on the ground and first floors and both enjoy fantastic sea views.
Special events are planned throughout the year, with friends and family welcome to book a dining table for breakfast, lunch or dinner to share those times and create special moments with you.
Our activities both encourage you to continue with lifelong hobbies and to also try new ones! The care and activity teams are happy to promote, encourage and attend any activity to ensure that you continue have fun and fulfilment in your life. Our aim is to promote stimulation for your mind and body as well as general wellbeing. A regular newsletter produced for our residents and their families keeps everyone in touch with the wonderful goings on at Belle Vue Care Home.
We provide nursing care for those who require the extra care and support of a skilled & fully qualified nurse available to them 24hrs a day.
Our teams are trained to care for our residents with dementia and understand how stimulating environments, activities and interactions are essential.

A little about me. I’m Paula, a Registered Nurse, and Home Manager of Belle Vue Care Home. I was born in Romania and moved to the Southwest Coast of the UK in 2014. I began working for Harbour Healthcare in 2018 and can honestly say, I have never looked back. I work alongside a great team who have been handpicked for their kind and caring natures. Each team member shows dedication, skill, and knowledge to care for our residents. We all receive thorough and ongoing training to provide an excellent standard of care, which makes me proud to be part of the Belle Vue Care Home Team.
I bring my ‘teacup chihuahua’ to work each day, she’s the best companion. She loves snuggles and cuddles and will happily spend all day curled up on an inviting lap! Her name is Ruby.
You will often see me with my sleeves rolled up attending to our residents. Caring and Nursing for people is my passion and spending time with the residents is something I take pride in every day.
