Kingswood Manor Care Home is a historic and well-known local landmark, with a beautiful sweeping staircase, painted ceilings, and original cornices. It is said the architect took inspiration from Buckingham Palace when designing what is now the residents’ lounge. Residents and families often comment that they never thought that they would ever live in such a beautiful home!
Our ever-popular Kingswood Manor Care Home is situated in Woolton, some 7 miles from Liverpool in a very quiet, pretty location, surrounded by trees and extensive private gardens. Kingswood Manor Care Home can provide care for 44 residents, including those who feel the impact of dementia on their daily lives, requiring specialist care.
Daily life at Kingswood Manor Care Home is enhanced by a ‘hidden gem’ of an enclosed garden which overflows with flowers, shrubs and raised flower beds; a beautiful place for everyone to enjoy! Many of the rooms overlook the garden and it is easily accessed by you and your loved ones.
Our conservatory dining room offers a beautiful view of the secure garden throughout the seasons and is a popular destination for the local wildlife including grey squirrels, and a family of bright green parakeets. Residents enjoy a weekly pamper at the in-house hair salon where they catch up on current affairs and pop-culture gossip with our very own Hairdresser, Maria!
We maintain excellent working relationships with our allied health and social care professionals. We host a weekly multi-disciplinary team meeting which is attended by representatives from our link GP practice, link social worker, community matron, medicines management and others where required to enable us to be proactive in meeting your healthcare needs.
Of the 44 tastefully decorated and furnished individual care rooms 10 are en suite and we have large shower rooms which enable our carers to provide dignified and person-centred care, promoting independence as far as possible.
When you are ready to move into Kingswood Manor Care Home, we would encourage you to bring in items to really make your room your own, bringing in a touch of sentiment. Many of our bedrooms overlook our wonderful garden which is accessible by residents with varying mobility; whichever room you choose, we’re sure you’ll be very happy.
Our food is of the best quality to ensure that you love what you eat and get everything you need nutritionally, too. Here at Kingswood Manor Care Home, we understand that nutrition and hydration is the foundation of an individual’s wellbeing. We make sure that our food and drink is at the centre of our social culture; whether it’s breakfast, or an evening’s entertainment, the food & drink will always go beyond expectations and, what’s more – there’s no washing up to do!
Our Head Chef loves to speak with our residents regarding the menu that we offer and is always happy to accommodate special requests for a favourite dish.
Lots of special events take place throughout the year, with friends and family welcome to book a dining table for breakfast, lunch, or dinner to share those times and create special moments and memories.
Our activities are second to none. Whether it’s a game of cards with the grandchildren or a musical extravaganza with lights and a full band, you can be sure of a vibrant social scene at Kingswood Manor Care Home!
Our activities not only encourage our residents to continue with lifelong hobbies but to also try new ones. Our dedicated activity teams are happy to promote, encourage and attend any activity to ensure that your loved ones continue have fun and fulfilment in their lives, and family members are welcome to join in too. Our aim is to promote stimulation for the mind and body, as well as general wellbeing.
Here at Kingswood Manor Care Home, we have our very own newsletter for residents and their families to let everyone know about the wonderful goings on at the home. We receive visits from the Liverpool Museum House of Memories tour bus, an immersive experience where residents can reminisce in the sights, sounds, and smells, of Liverpool’s Overhead Railway, and a visit to a 1950s grocery store to a virtual day out at the seaside or a forest.
Our minibus ensures that our residents enjoy the best of trips out too. From the best garden centre in the area to the sea front down the road – whatever we do and wherever we go, we always make sure we follow the desires of our residents.
We are proud to be supported by a dedicated pastor Lyn Hudson, who offers pastoral support to all, whatever their faith or beliefs.
Lyn is in the home regularly, providing companionship and one to one pastoral support for all the residents, their family, friends, and staff members irrespective of their beliefs. Lyn also organises worship and can offer Holy Communion for all those who wish to participate. Where possible, residents are encouraged to maintain links with local faith communities.
We welcome new enquiries, and should you wish to visit the home you are welcome to book a show round and enjoy a cup of tea and biscuit in our decorative foyer where we can discuss your needs and wishes for your future.
We provide care to those who need support or companionship to ensure that all needs are met, no matter what they might be. Our residential support and care is ideal for those of our residents who do not require nursing care or nursing care associated with dementia.
We provide nursing care for those who require the extra care and support of a skilled & fully qualified nurse available to them 24hrs a day.

Kingswood Manor Care Home accepts individuals aged 65+. All admissions will have a pre-admission assessment.
Kingswood Manor Care Home has a private car park with disabled parking bays, for people visiting the home. There is no charge to use the cark park.
Contact with relatives and friends is fundamental to their resident’s health and well-being and visits are encouraged.
There are no restrictions or booking requirements to visit Kingswood Manor Care Home, however different rules apply should there be a Covid-19 outbreak, and they ask to not visit during ‘protected mealtimes’ unless is a part of the essential caregiver role.
Woolton is a suburb of Liverpool, Merseyside, England. It is located in the south of the city and is bordered by Gateacre, Hunt’s Cross, Allerton, and Halewood1. Reynolds Park is a 14-acre park in Woolton which was bequeathed to the City Council in 1926. The park has a walled garden and is open 24 hours a day all year round.
